This seminar will go for 2 weekends. With the weekdays between for you to have time for homework.

The first session you will come with your mechanics and complete doll head. This comp body is actually a Bleuette body. So you can use any Bleuette head or any French head that fits. We will assemble and cover the trunk inside and out. We will assemble the doll and connect her to the trunk and attach both to the base. If time allows you will start undies. Homework will be undies, gathering her accessories and fabrics and laces to make the 3 costumes. 

The second session will be all about the 3 costumes. Fun! Fun! Fun!  These costumes require small amounts of fabrics and laces. What a good way to use up your scraps and little bits. Kits will not be supplied for these. You are encouraged to bring in all your things and I will be happy to help you pick and match. I will have some pieces of fabric for sale to help those who may need a piece or two.

You must purchase your mechanics ahead of time. 

Seminar will include patterns for costumes, undies, shoes, the wood base, the 2 wood dress stands along with the fabric and trims and beads to cover the stands. Also included is the paper, leather strips and metal findings for the trunk.

Seminar 16th Century Royalty (Man )

September  19&20 = Taught by Jackie Chimpky

16th Century Royalty - We will costume this little man fashion in his royal costume. Kit will not include beads or sword.  Kit will include fabrics, ribbon, gold trims, socks and boots.  

We will not make his union suit in seminar.  Union suit pattern will be given ahead of time.
