About the Artist: Jackie Chimpky

I have been in the business of making handcrafted reproduction dolls for the past 20 years. I teach classes and seminars which specialize in both antique and modern reproduction dolls.

My dolls are created with special care, pride, and only the top quality products. I do not mass-produce so every doll is made unique.  All of my dolls have glass eyes, except dolls with hand-painted eyes.

I have won many blue ribbons, rosettes, and trophies in doll competitions.

In 2002, I earned the Professional Millie Award, in 2003 I earned the Professional Maggie award

given by the Doll Artisan Guild of the Seeley Company.

This is the highest, most coveted awards given in the doll world.

I have also written many articles for several national doll magazines including

Doll Crafter, Doll Artisan, and Doll Costuming.

My studio is an Authorized Seeley Doll Studio

offering D.A.G. Seminar  for points from the Doll Artisan Guild.

I am a Seeley Certified Doll Product Teacher.

In 1994 I became a certified instructor for Jean Nordquist of the Collectible Doll Company.

I teach various painting and costuming seminars.

Please see my Seminars List for upcoming classes.

Along with running my doll business, I am a wife and a mother of three grown children.

I also have two beautiful daughter -in-laws.

I have a 9 year old granddaughter, a 2 year old grandson and a 6 month old grandson.

My husband, Don, does all the photography for the magazine articles (and is one of my biggest supporters).

All of my dolls come with a "Certificate of Authenticity",

verifying that it is a reproduction by me of an antique doll.
